Early Birthday Present

Well that say this week is gonna be rainy, so we gave Charlie 

his Birthday present a couple of days early. 

It's a power wheels Dune Buggy made for off road riding, grass, dirt, rocks 

and as we found out tonight it will even drive over small downed trees!

Sorting

The teacher has been sending  home a little weekly news letter, on today it said to practice sorting with you child. So I grabbed the sorting frogs  (Thanks Again Jen , we have played with these lots over the years  and have only lost one and I think he is hiding in the basement) and dumped them on the table and told Charlie sort these.  He says "OK,  first by color then size" I'm thinking all the color's in pile's then mix um up and sort um by size.  No Charlie sort's them by color and size at the same time. So I think he has sorting down pat and I know for a fact he enjoyed mixing up a whole lot more then sorting them. 

Oh and then Charlie put some of the frogs on his finger's and Moppy sung 

this sad song about five little frogs on Charlie's hand.

While Moppy was out with her friend the other night Charlie

 decided to make a few changes to out nightly routine...

He told Daddy that it reads  he get's to watch TV.

The newly rewritten routine. 

Change

Moppy felt like a change so when she went for her hair cut today , 

she also got her hair dyed RED! Chaz noticed right away and was less then thrilled but ever so supportive. Charlie was not happy about the change at all and said I needed  to wash it out! 

Moppy like's it one minute and the next isn't so sure if she does or doesn't like it.  Honesty it seem's allot redder then it looks in these picture's... 

Nope we don't get along....

Shortcut

One of Charlie chore's is to bring the recycle bins in, 

well he figured out it's allot easier to roll them in on his scooter 

rather then carry them.

charged us $1 and this is the soda they gave him. 

He was thrilled!!

Today Moppy joined Charlie for Lunch on ho second day off school.  I love that the school encourage's you to come have lunch with your child! It was cute all the kids around us were asking me to help them open this or that. 

First day in the K...

AFTERSCHOOL....

Ask Charlie how he's day was and he says it was good and walks away.

Lot's of people have asked did you Cry?? Nope I didn't and neither did Charlie. Charlie kept telling me to leave. When he got off the bus he was mad because I was there to walk with  him which is required for all kindergartners and 1st grader's that an adult meets them at the bus.  He kept telling me I can walk home by myself.

Tomorrow school starts....

so today we went to St. Charles to see the river and have an ice cream cone.  Really we went to see the shipwrecks we have been hearing that you could see since the river is so low, but it turns out it is on private property and sure you can see it if your a news crew but not just someone wanting to see it...
