3 cousins, 3 states, all have snow...

So My mom texted  my Sister and me  a picture of my niece Lyssa ( in MI)  playing in the snow, so I texted one back to them and then my Sister texted us one of my nephew Timmy (in OH).

Playing in the snow....

Incredible Pizza Co.

Yesterday we met Charlie's Great Aunt Rhonda, Great Uncle John and Cousin Blaine at the Incredible Pizza Company in St. Louis. Charlie and Daddy had the chance to go go-karting together.
Charlie was riding the airplane in the toddler area and turned around and touched the light on the back, it burnt his finger to a blister. when I went to the manager and asked for some burn cream and a band-aid. He didn't even ask how he was burned,  so I told him just in case your wondering how he was burned,  the light on the back of the air plane in the toddler area is very hot and burned him you may want to have someone check it out. Thinking about writing the company a letter.

First Snow...

It snowed last nigh and we knew Charlie would be very excited since almost every morning for two weeks when he wakes up he rushes to the window to see the snow that hadn't came...

Science Center Oklahoma

Each time we go to the St. Louis Science center I feel like it was almost a waste of time Charlie can not do much there, But This was great Science Center they had areas for all age groups and a family area. The only down side was we went on a rainy Friday, so it was very busy!

Oklahoma City- Natural History Museum

Charlie kept talking about dinosaur bones and the man at the Osteology Museum told us we had to check out the Natural history Museum, we took his advice and it was worth the visit. I LOVE this Museum, Charlie had so much fun exploring all the exhibits!!! It was very kid friendly and hands on!!!

Museum Of Osteology

While looking at the local attraction's pamphlet area at the hotel in the Oklahoma City, Charlie found a card on the Museum of Osteology. He really wanted to go see the bones and it looked interesting To Chaz and I. When we pulled up I was thinking wow this is a waste of time, then we went inside and I was amazed at all the skeletons they had and the fact that Charlie seemed truly interested in looking at them. It also happened that the man that who started the museum happened to be there, Chaz had a chance to talk with him a bit and the local paper happened to be there doing a story on the museum.

Oklahoma State Parks

While visiting the Oklahoma City Bombing Memorial we talked to a park Ranger and  she told us about two State parks that were worth the drive to. The First was Roman Nose.... well let me just say we drove over a hour to go to a golf course, yes you read, that right we drove all the way there to find out that the park was mainly a golf course. They had some camping areas and a lodge with cabins you can rent in season. So now ask yourself would you drive to the second suggested park??  We did and that was Red Rocks Canyon  State park, which was very much worth the drive!! The first trail we hiked was the California Road Nature Trail it was a beautiful trail and Sadly I for get the name of the second which was interesting because you started out in a swampy area with very tall horse tail pants and then came to a more lush rocky forest with the beautiful Red rocks and dirt. Now I am not sure how long the trail was but we hiked it for a while and then came to where the path was flooded and we had to turn back and when we were almost back to the swampy horse tail area you could see the flooded area, we were a little sick of hiking at that point. Oh wait I almost forgot the best part of this trail, we saw a real, live, fast moving Armadillo!! Funny thing is right before we arrived at this park I was telling Chaz that I  hoped one day to get to see a live Armadillo in the wild some day and then it happed!!

Oklahoma City Zoo (11-10-10)

While Daddy was working Charlie and Moppy checked out the Oklahoma City Zoo. It was a beatiful day to go to the zoo!! We had allot of fun and it was nice to explore a new zoo. Being the "off" season some things we not open for us to do like the peddle boats but we enjoyed our day at the Zoo very much.
