Mark Twain Landing Water Park

Today we returned to Mark Twain Landing Water Park. Some friends came along with us and it was a great day!!

Slip and Slide

This evening we picked up a Slip and Slide, Charlie's ideal. He wanted the three lane race one so we could all race, but we talked him into the two line one which was half the price. He loved playing on it!! He doesn't get the whole run flop on your belly and slide thing but he was having a blast. Truth be told Moppy even went sliding a couple times. :)

MY Bread!!!

Charlie loves Jimmy John's day old bread! I went out said for a few minutes yesterday and came in to find him almost asleep in his tent holding his Jimmy John's bread. When I took it from him he had a melt down about it being his bread.

Fresh from our garden!!

Charlie  was so proud of himself last week because he

 picked Strawberries for all of us. Sadly they 

were not ripe. But today we did get some nice juicy ripe ones!!

Tee Ball Practice #2

Last week tee ball was rained out, so this morning Charlie told me he hoped it didn't rain and tee ball was canceled. Then on the way to tee ball he said he wasn't going to play.  They haven't really played a game yet they rotate though stations where they practice the basic's of tee ball.  Not sure what a game is going to look like with a bunch of 4 year olds playing.

Public Works Fair

Today we went to O'Fallon Public works fair this is our  third year

 attending and once again Charlie had a great time!! He climbed in and on all kinds of trucks and equipment. But his absolute favorite was the Water Departments rain water pollution display.

Oh and Charlie can throw a tennis ball 15 mph.

He wonder's why I call him monkey...

maybe because he climbs everything and is full of mischief!!

Sand

Today we picked up some sand for a project in the back yard and Charlie was having a great time playing in it right on the trailer!

Peter Pan

A couple of weeks ago we rented Peter Pan and then last night we rented Return to Neverland.  Well  I am sure you are not surprised to hear that Charlie loves both movies! Today he was watching return to Neverland when he decided he needed a red feather like Peter has and then we had to make a hat too. Well he stole the red feather out of a turkey we made a couple of years ago and I keep in my china cabinet. And I made the hat out of some tissue paper which surprisingly had held up very well today including a trip to Walmart and out playing in the yard.

First Graduation

Charlie had been attending a program at the local High School called Tot's and Teens, yesterday he graduated from the program. Luckily his cousin Katie is one of the teens and she snapped this picture of him with his diploma and the cap on. He looks so excited doesn't he?

100% washable

This afternoon I needed to get out and work in the garden a bit, and figured Charlie needed to get out and get some fresh air too. It's wet out ,  but we are washable is how I see it!   Well Charlie found a mud hole to play in, he had mud from top to bottom, but as I said he is washable! It was so cute because he told he got all muddy because the mud kept trying to eat his boots.
