This evening we went over to Indian Camp Creek Park for Emily's Graduation Party. She has grown into so a lovely young lady! The kids had a blast playing in the creek!
Today Daddy took the day off and we went to the Zoo. We had planned to spend the day with a friend of Daddy's that was in town but due to a medical emergency in her family she head home early. So it was a family day at the zoo. It was a beautiful day and we even scored new draw string bags for free!
Yesterday we went and checked out Troy's New Aquatic's Center. Both friends we invited couldn't join us, but luck was on our side and Charlie's Pal Brady was there!! Moppy is still recovering so she had to just sit out and watch all the splashing fun!
Dear Lego.com,
CAB4 is not happy that you update the build you own Hero on the Hero factory web site! He said it is too slow and he like's to go fast and he don't like it, Change it back!
We tried to explain that it is their game and that Lego let's him play it and they can change it if they want too. He wanted to call the police and have them make them change it back.
It was so sad to see him so upset. He is not a fan of change!
Well not much has been going on with Moppy lately. Last week Moppy had some minor surgery and has been recovering so hopefully some fun picture's to come this week...
This past weekend we went camping, yes it was in a tent! No running water, no electricity and no cell phone service!! We were invited to join Charlie's Pal Landon's family at the Huzzah Valley Camping Resort for camping and a float trip. Thanks to the Gerland Family for Loaning us some camping gear!! We had a great time!! It looked like it may be too hot but it wasn't all that bad and with the Huzzah Creek a short walk from the camp site we could walk over and cool off anytime. Picture's are not the best because these were taken with my little point and shoot and heck we were camping.
I was sitting here on the computer and Chaz is watching the news, Charlie comes walking thought the living room trying to hide the broom and dust pan behind his back... I say "Monkey, what ya doing?" Charlie- "Nothing, nothing at all" Chaz and I just look at each other and start laughing I go see what he's up too. Turns out he knocked over a plant and was trying to clean it up on his own. When I go in the bathroom he tells me I'm big I can do this all by myself. That seems to be the theme lately, how he's growing up and can do every thing by himself and he doesn't need me. 8(
So Yesterday was O'fallon's Public Works Fair, this was out 4th year attending . This year it was so busy! We were early so we got a chance to walk around and climb on things before the madness. But Then we we ran into Charlie's Pal Landon all the boys wanted to do was chase each other around so we decided to leave go to McDonald's for some lunch then check out Brendan's Playground.
Then Landon came to hang out while his sister went to her dance class. Snoopy found Tucker the turtle in the back yard so the boys had fun playing with him for a while, then they explored the creek and then back inside for a snack and video games.
Last night we picked Daddy up at the airport, complete with Charlie seeing him taking off running with arms out stretched yelling Daddy your home! (Loved the smile on the face of the Lady that was walking behind Chaz! Sorry No picture ) Of course he came home bearing gifts!! But is sleeping in this morning so he missed the construction of the Lego Helicopter!
Yesterday we took a trip to the Zoo, Aurora (a cousin) and her friend Aunye came along. I like taking others because then when I am taking pictures of them Charlie wants me to take his picture!! 8) It was a nice day to be at the Zoo the weather was beautiful , but that being said the Zoo was packed with people and school groups on field trips.
