Summer Fun

This morning we meet friends at our favorite park Indian Camp creek. We played in the mud area for a while and then when it started to get busy we headed over to the creek to play for a while. We had a great time and Charlie is already begging to go back.

TOO HOT!!

Sorry I haven't been updating more but it's been too hot to do much so we have

just been hanging around indoors trying to keep cool.

Fresh from the Garden

Last night Charlie enjoyed a carrot fresh from the garden. He did let Daddy and Moppy have a bite of it too and it was great!Sorry the picture's are a bit fuzzy, lens fogged up going out into the heat.

Family Fun day

Chaz has worked some long days so he was able to take this Firday off so we took a ride out to Mark Twian State Park and Mark Twain Landing (which I think would be a great family outting for my meetup friends, but I have to find out more abouty their campground!) We had a great time at the water park Charlie loved the wave pool!!

Meet Tom and Tom....

well that's what Charlie tells us when we ask what their names are. But Moppy is working on that and wants to name the smaller kitten Pixie and the other maybe Twink.

On the way home from Michigan we stopped in Indiana to pick up these cuties from some friends who had adopted a "fixed" cat from the humane society and she had nine kittens. I was suppose to only get one but my friend twisted my arm a little bitty bit and I really didn't want a lonely crying kitten for the rest of the ride home

Baby Rabbit

This morning Charlie informed us he has a Baby Rabbit that lives in a tiny bird cage. I got run the rabbit just escaped heeheee :)

Garden Update

The garden still is doing well but I do think the heat has been getting to it a bit. During the day the cucumber plants are all wilted but in the evening as the sun goes down they really perk up.

Jump 4 Fun

This morning we met Molly, Norah and Sydney at Jump 4 fun. The kids had a great time and were wore out after the two hour open play for toddlers. I was worried that it would be very busy but thankfully it was not. weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Cucumber's are ready...

last night we picked the first of our cucumber's. We ate one at dinner in our salad and took two down to Aunt Nila. Today I went out and picked six more.Charlie and Moppyone I picked last night and 6 from today

Gray tree frog

Charlie found this Gray tree Frog while I was working in the garden and Daddy was cutting brush. It was a very friendly frog and when we went to release him he kept jumping back on us.

I picked up some beans and macaroni for Charlie to glue on to paper plates. He was all into it until the glue ran out.

I was out checking on the garden and I heard some little chirps so I started looking around for a baby bird and sure enough I found one. It happened to be on the ground on the other side of the fence. Well our neighbor's are not the friendliest and they have this big dog that i have seen go after other critters so I wanted to get the bird before the dog did. I grabbed my bucket and Charlie's butterfly net. Leaned over a bit and scooped the little guy up. Showed him to Charlie and took some pictures. I put him back on the ground on our side and a little while later Momma and Poppa showed up and last time I checked the little guy was nowhere to be found.

Our Garden is doing well. We have lots of tomato's on the plants, watermelon are starting to grow, this evening I spotted a cucumber that I missed when taking pictures this afternoon, We have flowers on the pumpkin plant and have been enjoying fresh lettuce from the garden.

Update today 6/17 ... we have 60 tomato's and several of cucumbers that some how I hadn't notice.
