Beach with friends

This afternoon we returned to Lake Lincoln beach  Some friends joined us,  it wasn't the hottest afternoon but it was a nice afternoon at the beach. It wasn't crowded and the boys played very well together!

Laumeier Sculpture Park

Today we went to Laumeier Sculpture Park for the first time. This was a interesting park with a very nice nature trail and interesting sculptures. 

Second Soccer Practice

Because allot of the kids had back to school open houses on Thursday coach rescheduled practice to this morning. Charlie still like's playing soccer and we think he is picking it up fairly well.

Preschool Open house

Tonight we attended Charlie's preschool open house,he didn't not want to go!Well he loved it and did not want to leave! His teacher's name is Mrs. Conway.

He asked her to take a picture with him, but he wanted it over with 

quick so he could get back to his new Buddy 

who we found out would not be in class with him. 8(

WHAT?  After telling me thousands of times not to take his picture he actually wanted me to. This was a week or two  ago but I forgot about it until today when I was looking thought some pictures. We were making some banana peanut butter muffins that were not hit.

Alligator Creek

Yesterday we met some friends at Alligator Creek. I don't think we went there at all last summer and it was our first visit this summer. I was surprised at the changes in Charlie from the last time we were there. He is of coarse bigger so he could walk all around the play area without me and he loved the lazy river which moves faster then their whirlpool. It took awhile but him and Blake finally warmed up to each other and didn't want to leave when it was time.  And all I have heard since we left was how he misses Blake.

Blackberry Picking

I little over a week ago we went Blackberry picking and I forgot to post the picture's. Charlie and I picked 6.25 pounds of blackberries in under thirty minutes.

First Soccer Practice

Charlie  enjoyed soccer practice so much more the tee ball!!

He seemed to really be trying to do what the coach

asked of him. He did get off track a couple of

 times but I was very proud of him!

What did we do in July....

Charlie and Moppy were lucky enough to get to go to MI for three weeks and we had a great time!!

Did I mention we got a pool....
