Menopause The Musical

This truly is a hilarious show!! I laughed for two hours and my sides hurt after the show from laughing. I encourage anyone who has a chance to go see it!

OUCH!!

So about two hours before I returned home from my trip Charlie had a accident, he was swinging on his horsey tire swing and the rope broke. He has a few minor injuries and Daddy said he was more upset and worried about the broken swing then being hurt. Daddy got Charlie doughnuts because Charlie said that would make him feel better. Today Charlie told me his month was really hurting so I took a peek and I bet it is hurting! We have done some salt water rinses but he would not let me put any orajel on it. When Daddy came home from work Charlie's first words to him were "do you have the stronger rope?"

Moppy's Back home...

this past weekend I went to Texas for a baby shower/girls weekend leaving Charlie and Daddy home for more then a couple of hours for the first time. I had a great time and they

did fine with out me. Last night Charlie did tell me to go back to my friends but this morning said I had to stay home with him!

Hair cut time!

Charlie was badly in need of a hair cut, but after the last time I have not wanted to get it done. Last time I had to hold his head and he cried the whole time. This time we talked about it on the way and he agreed he needed a hair cut. So this time he just sat there and even smiled a few times!

This weekend I am going to Texas for a Girls weekend and it was all planned by my friends husband, but here is the funny part the other evening Chaz was talking with Charlie and told him Moppy is going out of town for the weekend and asked what they should do, Charlie told him "tell her she can't go"

Extreme Bubble Bath !

After a long day of skipping his nap and helping Daddy in the garden Charlie requested a whirlpool bath. Moppy thought it would be fun to add a little bubble bath......Moppy learned no bubbles in the jacuzzi!! Charlie liked it but the bubbles just keep getting thicker and thicker and I ended up turning off the jets leading to Charlie's disappointment.

This afternoon I fianlly put up the 258 glow in the dark decals....

Monkey

Monkey is Charlie most trusted friend, it started he just wanted Monkey at nap time and that went on for a very long time then gradually he wanted Monkey more and more. Well like most kids he is protective of this friend so tonight's events kinda threw me for a loop...
Charlie likes to help me do the laundry and while we were unloading the washer he went and got Monkey because he need a bath. Now I have snuck monkey away many times at nap time to wash him because I have heard the tells of kids freaking out when their lovey is washed.
I asked was he sure monkey want to go in the washer and that after the washer he had to go in the dryer. Charlie took his beloved Monkey and rubbed him on the floor and said "see Monkey is dirty he needs to be washed!"

So we loaded Monkey into the washer and he is now a clean happy little Monkey.

Zoo Yesterday

We enjoyed a fun filled Day at the Zoo with our friends! Charlie has been asking all day today to go back to the zoo!

Today we went to the Dollar tree and Charlie seen a package of water balloons and asked could be have a water balloon fight. I wondered how he knew what a water balloon fight was... in the car after we left it occurred to me where he had learned about water balloon fights the Arthur movie but I asked him...

Moppy- Charlie where did you learn about water balloon fights from George?
Charlie- No
Moppy- From ( forget who I asked him)
Charlie- No mommy don't be silly
Moppy- From Arthur
Charlie- unhu you put water in them and throw them at people , can we balloon fight?
